MICHELLES BIO
MICHELLE RUSSO has interviewed some of the biggest names in Hollywood, sports, and music...from Olympic medalist, Carl Lewis, to pop music icon, Justin Timberlake! However, before working as a television host, Michelle was pursuing her love of music and simultaneously delve into commercials and print modeling. She eventually appeared in over 450 commercials, infomercials, and industrialsworldwide for major corporations that include Toyota, Budweiser, Shell, AT&T, and MTV and modeled throughout North America and Europe for numerous products such as Revlon Hair, Tessallure, Spice Jeans, and Rugged Apparel. Michelle has been featured in a long list of popular television programs from Boston Legal, to The John Madden Show and has enjoyed acting in a few motion pictures and hit music videos along the way. In addition to appearing in various magazines and on billboards and televisions around the world, you may also have heard some of Michelle's music. Michelle earnestly worked coast to coast with the recording duet, Sol Russh, who had the pleasure of sharing the stage with celebrated musicians; Lenny Kravits, Jessica Simpson, and Shaggy to name a few, while also gaining Clear Channel airplay, critics accolades, and a few fans as well!
While modeling with Wilhelmina Models, Michelle's ease in front of the camera, along with her quick wit and warm personality, soon opened the door to a successful hosting career. Her launch pad was the quirky game show, Let's Make A Deal shot in Istanbul, Turkey. Despite the language barrier, Michelle was able to win over the foreign television audience with her spirited persona. Michelle's resume continued with a variety of credits on major networks including, Fox Sports Net, where Michelle spent four adventurous seasons on the award winning and Emmy nominated XSTV as host and field producer. During her run on XSTV, Michelle lived the life of a true adrenalin junkie, hiking snowy slopes with Olympic athletes in Switzerland and arm wrestling with the Hells Angels during Bike Week in Sturgis! While hosting XSTV, Michelle worked double duty hosting another Fox Sports sensation, Beach Xtreme. You may also remember Michelle as the lively correspondent, Angel, on the highly rated TV series Thunderbox, where Michelle interviewed hip-hop royalty Kool-Mo-De, Doggie Fresh, Mr. Cheeks, and more.
Further notable credits include: Multiple red carpet interviews, numerous major spokesperson campaigns, national jingles and radio spots, as well as diverse correspondent positions including TLC's award winning series, Designing Spaces, where Michelle can currently be seen regularly.
At present, Michelle is also working behind the camera in hopes to launch her own original programming! When she's not hard at work, Michelle volunteers for numerous non-profits and is an active member of the Fort Lauderdale Junior League and is 2nd VP on the PAWS Board of Directors for the Humane Society of Broward County.
